AUPP SIGNS M.O.U. WITH HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD
The AMERICAN UNIVERSITY OF PHNOM PENH (AUPP) signed a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD late Friday afternoon at AUPP’s campus in Khan Russey Keo, Phnom Penh.
Dr. Dan Kulmala, VP of Academic and Student Affairs said, “This MOU is a significant milestone to strengthen closer cooperation between the AUPP and HUAWEI in education, corporate training, joint projects and leadership development. We are excited to be associated with such an innovative technology company.” The agreement also provides for potential merit scholarships, internship opportunities and joint activities to benefit HUAWEI employees and AUPP students.
AUPP SIGNS M.O.U. WITH CB GENERAL INSURANCE PLC.
On Thursday, August 6th, 2020, CB Insurance signed a memorandum of understanding with Center of Leadership and Professional Development (CLPD) at the American University of Phnom Penh. The partnership will give CLPD access to the deep professional experience of the CB Insurance team. The students who will have internship program at CB Insurance will be immersed in the more than 30 years of insurance industry experience of our people, they will be exposed to the dynamic and innovative initiatives of the company, and they will learn from the wisdom of their mentors.
American University of Phnom Penh Technology Center (ATC)
We are pleased to announce the creation of our new American University of Phnom Penh Technology Center (ATC). The ATC will start operations in January 2021.
Inspired by the successful model of Israeli Technology incubators, the ATC will be a technology-focused ecosystem builder aiming to help start-ups form collaborative and strategic partnerships with established corporates and government agencies. It will nurture novice entrepreneurs at the earliest stage of technological innovation, helping them transform their ideas into commercial products and form productive business ventures in Cambodia and abroad.
AUPP to launch Technology Centre in January 2021
AUPP board of trustee’s member and president of the centre for professional leadership and development (CPLD) Guido Gianasso said: “This new Centre will put entrepreneurs, expert mentors and investors under one roof with the aim to develop commercially viable ideas.”
